| Description of Services: | The facility provides landfill disposal for RCRA- and TSCA-regulated waste. Wastes may be stabilized with chemical reagents prior to landfill disposal. Additionally, the site manages PCB-containing electric equipment (e.g., transformers) by draining transformer liquid (collected for off-site incineration) and flushing prior to on-site landfill disposal. The facility also consolidates liquid mercury for subsequent offsite transfer, and evaporates non-hazardous liquid waste using a synthetic-lined open-top impoundment. PFAS wastes (such as fire-fighting liquid and foam) are accepted on a case-by-case basis for stabilization or direct landfill disposal. |
