| Description of Services: | The facility is permitted to conduct bio-remediation of petroleum contaminated soils and foundry sands. Essentially all of the foundry sands, which contain phenols, come from the steel smelter next door. According to the facility, all of the incoming waste is treated onsite with the exception of about 2%, which can be transferred offsite to one of two offsite outlets without treatment. |
