Description of Services:The facility accepts wastes generated from oil field and gas plant E&P operations, which have been specifically exempted from the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and the site functions solely as a transfer facility. The types of RCRA-exempt E&P waste received include oil base mud, water base mud, spent drilling fluids, production pit sludges, storage tank sludges, production sands and solids, freshwater, rainwater, washout water, washout pit water, and pipeline water. Washout water and oil base mud are the two most common types of waste received at the facility. Gas plant waste can also be received, but none was delivered to the facility in 2011. The facility receives waste via barge, work boat, bulk liquid container, dump truck, tank truck, and trailer. The majority of waste is delivered by barge or workboat. The facility does not collect waste or provide transportation units; all waste is delivered by the generator.
