(Visit Date):

There is 1 more review conducted prior to 2014 not shown.
Description of Services:Facility operations are:
  • Liquids processing: used oil, solvents, contaminated water, water base and solvent base paints, automotive coolant, etc. are blended to suitable heat value or may be added to solids or sludges according to recipe to produce fuel for cement kilns. Sawdust is used as required for sludge and liquid solidification. Processed solid material is transferred by dump trucks to cement plants, while consolidated liquids are transferred in tank trucks.
  • Solids processing: hydrocarbon-contaminated solids, miscellaneous industrial wastes, plastics, greases, air and gasoline filters, packing material, and off-specification and out of date pharmaceutical wastes are consolidated, shredded and sized to appropriate size for use as kiln fuel.
  • Sludge (“mud”) processing: hydrocarbon-contaminated soil, water treatment plant sludge, oily sludge, tank cleaning residue and tank bottoms, miscellaneous industrial sludge, resins, and pigments are blended with other liquid and solid wastes for use as kiln fuel.
  • Miscellaneous recyclable wastes including alternative raw material sources: tires (whole or cut), silica-rich materials, iron-containing, calcium and aluminum-containing, and spent catalysts (desired metals for introduction into cement product only) are ground or shredded and mixed with other wastes for introduction into cement kilns, and eventual incorporation into the Portland cement product.
