Description of Services: | The facility is a transfer/storage terminal that supports Siemens’ hydrocarbon recovery activities. The terminal has been in use since 1991. The terminal contains one structure that serves as an office and work shop area and one pole barn used for miscellaneous storage. Transport trucks of varying size and eleven aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) are utilized in the Little Rock Terminal operations. Recovered hydrocarbon (both used oils and off-specification fuels) and water mixtures are stored at the terminal until sufficient volumes have accumulated for off-site transfer. At that point, the fluids are loaded into transfer trucks and transported to an off-site used oil or hydrocarbon reclamation/processing facility. Some loads of recovered hydrocarbon fluids are transported directly to the off-site reclamation/processing facility without offloading at the Little Rock Terminal; in these cases the Little Rock Terminal is used for staging prior to transport. The facility processes and reclaims used oil in an on-site heated tank. Used oil filters are accumulated at the terminal for transport off the site. |
