| Description of Services: | The facility has 4 operations: sorting and bulking of curbside commodities (aluminum, glass, plastic, paper, etc.) which are then sent off-site for recycling; 2) material recycling operation that uses crushers. screeners to transform concrete, brick, block, soils, wood, etc. into recycled aggregate, stone, and fill materials suitable for sale and reuse in the construction industry; 3) petroleum and coal tar contaminated soil treatment operation which uses screens and crushers and low temperature thermal desorption (LTTD) technology to remediate the soils for beneficial reuse as daily cover and construction fill at Subtitle D landfill sites; and 4) a ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal processing operation. |
