| Description of Services: | The facility receives nonhazardous, industrial wastes, mainly used oil filters (90% of incoming waste), oil-laden absorbents, and tank track (rubberized wheels which comes from the military).Used oil filters are drained for 24 hours prior to processing through a filter crusher. The treated steel is quenched with water to cool it down, and stockpiled inside the building, or in roll-offs for shipment offsite. The recovered oil, and quench water flows through floor trenches to an oily-water separator. Recovered oils are shipped offsite for energy recovery. Water is stored for reuse in the process. |
