Review Program
(Visit Date):

There is 1 more review conducted prior to 2014 not shown.
Description of Services:The facility uses two steps to manufacture steel products - steel making and steel rolling. During steel making, the company transforms scrap steel into steel billets, blooms, and beam blanks. During rolling, the company takes the steel billets, blooms, and beam blanks and works them to produce medium section and light structural steel.

The facility only accepts nonhazardous scrap metals, refractory materials, and other scrap alloys. It also currently accepts waste dry cell batteries from a single customer for recycling in the steel manufacturing process. No other unique or special scrap metal wastes are accepted at this time. Corporate buyers typically make the determination of scrap metal acceptability (based on scrap metal composition, quality, and quantity), but the facility staff is also involved in the decision to accept a particular scrap metal stream based on site-specific operational considerations.
