| Description of Services: | The facility tests, refurbishes, and resells used cellular telephones, pagers, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and, to a limited extent, used printer cartridges. Equipment that does not test as operative and otherwise cannot be refurbished is sent to offsite recyclers for material recovery. The main activities are: collection, triage (determining which phones are reusable and which need to be scrapped), inventory tracking, refurbishment, testing, marketing, and sales. All operations, with the exception of some aspects of collection, marketing, and sales, are performed on-site. |
