Description of Services:The Facility accepts municipal solid waste (MSW), industrial non-hazardous waste, construction and demolition debris (C&D) waste, stabilized wastewater treatment sludge, tires, special waste (contaminated soils), and liquids with at least 20% solids. Solid waste is disposed of directly at the working face of the landfill. Each day's waste disposal is covered with a minimum of six inches of soil. Liquids containing at least 20% solids are transported via tanker or vac-truck and directed to the solidification area located on a lined area of the landfill. If the solidification vaults are full the wastewaste can be off-loaded into a mobile frac-tank located in the solidification area. The liquids are pumped into one of two concrete vaults (each 20 feet deep and 20 feet long) set within the ground (over a lined area of the landfill) and then mixed with sawdust or flyash using a backhoe. The resulting solidified waste must meet the paint-filter test and is then deposited in the landfill.

E-scrap (primarily televisions, monitors, computers, and printers) is simply accepted, staged, bulked, and then shipped offsite for recycling. Tires are accepted (and pulled from incoming loads) and staged on asphalt and within roll-off boxes before being transferred to another landfill where they are shredded and used as alternate cover.
