| Description of Services: | The facility purchases various metal oxide materials and granulates them to produce micronutrients for sale to other fertilizer manufacturers. All materials received must be non-hazardous and are tested using toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP) analysis to ensure that metal concentrations do not exceed hazardous waste standards. The metal oxides include zinc, copper, iron, manganese, and magnesium. No high-lead concentration materials are handled. The facility also receives copper and zinc catalysts for processing. |
