| Description of Services: | The facility is designed to receive municipal and industrial solid waste and nonhazardous incinerator ash into engineered landfill cells. A program to detect and prevent the disposal of hazardous waste, PCB waste, and other prohibited waste streams has been developed and implemented at the facility. The program consists of prequalification and analytical testing; industrial waste screening procedures and random inspections of incoming refuse loads. Landfill personnel involved in the receipt, inspection and unloading of solid waste receive training, which includes the review of regulatory requirements, facility permits, and licenses. |
