| Description of Services: | The facility receives used oil from automotive and industrial sources. Heat transfer oil, dielectric (transformer) oil with PCB content <2 ppm, and other industrial oils are accepted in addition to automotive used oil. Oil is initially placed into above ground tanks while awaiting analyses to determine conformance with Used Oil Regulation specifications (received oil later found to be unacceptable is sent to an appropriate offsite facility). After acceptance, oil is transferred to a bulk tank. Collected oil is sold to various asphalt manufacturing plants for use as fuel in aggregate driers. |
