Description of Services:Review canceled for 2020 - facility still not operating. Review canceled for 2019. Review canceled for 2018. Review canceled for 2017. Gulf Chemical filed for bankruptcy in 2016, and closed the facility in April, 2017. As of May 10, 2017, the facility is being purchased by Gladieux and will reportedly reopen by the 4th quarter 2017. 2018 Update: Operations should reopen by late 1st quarter 2019. 2019 Update: Operations should reopen by late 1st quarter 2020. The facility is a RCRA Part B facility that receives waste petroleum catalyst (hazardous and non-hazardous) and sends it through a roasting and secondary smelting process to recover metals such as vanadium, molybdenum, nickel/cobalt alloy and fused alumina.
