| Description of Services: | The facility has two separate processing plants: one for closed head and one for open head drums. The closed-head plant processes both steel and plastic/poly drums. IBCs are prepped in a dedicated area in the closed-head plant. The open-head plant processes steel drums only, since a furnace is used. In some cases, closed-head steel drums are “de-headed” and processed as open head (a new lid is later attached, or a lip is formed to make the drum open-head with removable lid and closure ring). |
