| Description of Services: | The facility primarily conducts waste management activities (collection, storage, and processing (bulking and shredding) of both solid and liquid wastes) related to the development of alternative fuels and raw materials (AFR) to exclusively support the cement manufacturing activities at the Holcim cement plant. The AFR related business accounts for over 90% of Geocycle activities in Costa Rica - the other aspects of the business include providing complete waste management services for its customers (including the arrangement for recycling/treatment/disposal of wastes not appropriate for use as AFR), as well as providing other special services, including remediation services (i.e., cleanup of spills and releases) and industrial cleaning services (tank, sump, vessel cleaning). Geocycle also provides waste transport services for its customers. |
