Description of Services:The facility is primarily involved with electronics dismantling for off-site transfer for further recycling or disposal of components, fluorescent lamp and other mercury waste processing (with all residuals sent off-site for further recycling or disposal), lead acid battery storage for off-site transfer for recycling, and the handling of various goods and products confiscated by the Beijing Customs authorities to ensure that these products are not made available for commercial use. By permit, the facility is allowed to accept the following hazardous waste types - HW29 (mercury containing wastes) and HW31 (leaded wastes, i.e., lead acid batteries). This is the only facility currently permitted in Beijing to receive fluorescent lamps and other H28 waste. All wastes and waste components are eventually shipped off-site for further recycling or disposal.
