| Description of Services: |  The facility treats medical waste by steam sterilization in an autoclave. The treated solid waste is loaded into a roll off container and is transported to a local waste to energy facility for incineration. Pathological waste is received at the facility, stored for a short time, and then transferred to a trailer for off-site treatment at a medical waste incinerator. Solid, nonhazardous waste may be accepted at the facility and bulked for shipment to a local waste to energy facility. |
