| Description of Services: | The facility discontinued lamp crushing and associated material separation operations in March 2017 after the acquisition by Clean Earth. Fluorescent lamps are now simply repackaged for shipment to other facilities for processing. HID lamps are no longer disassembled but sent intact. Batteries and e-scrap are sorted and shipped offsite for recycling and disposal. The facility also operates a 10-day hazardous waste transfer storage facility. The facility maintains permits for lamp crushing, dismantling, and separation of components in case future market conditions make these operations feasible. |
