| Description of Services: | The facility receives non-ferrous material that is sorted, consolidated, and stored on site until sold to final users, such as smelters. Scrap metals enter the facility through the main gate accessed from South Harding Street. The facility uses shears, shaker tables, briquettes, small bailers or large bailers to sort, reduce, and compact the scrap metal. Once compacted, the material is again analyzed. The finished material is stored on-site until sold on the open market. The facility processes material consisting of brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, nickel alloy, and iron. |
