| Description of Services: | The facility receives industrial wastes as well as municipal solid wastes from nearby communities. SASA’s operations are similar to a combination Subtitle C and D landfill in the US. Materials that fail the paint filter test or contain leachable constituents are treated by solidification and/or stabilization using clay, lime, and/or cement as appropriate in either of two steel pits set in concrete in a covered area. |
