| Description of Services: | The facility accepts various copper-bearing scrap materials including rod mill scale (over 1/3 of total feed), copper slag, copper oxide (dusts), copper chops, copper-bearing filter paper, copper mud, scrap copper, copper fly ash, and miscellaneous copper by-products. Iron scrap is also accepted. Incoming materials are usually received in steel drums, Gaylord boxes, or supersacks, however bulk loads are also accepted. No hazardous waste is accepted. The facility processes the materials mostly to produce copper smelter feed. |
