| Description of Services: | The facility accepts municipal and commercial solid waste, special wastes (including various industrial wastes and underground storage tank soils), construction and demolition wastes, friable and non-friable asbestos, wash bay grit (solids from vehicle and equipment wash bays), and domestic sewage sludge. All wastes are landfill disposed onsite. No solidification or other pretreatment is done. Operation of waste solidification for special wastes has been applied for, and a permit modification is assumed to pending. Once approved, solidification will be done in used steel rail car sections, using rice hulls for reagent. |
