Description of Services:The facility is a landfill site consists of a municipal solid waste (MSW) transfer facility as well as an unlined non-hazardous waste construction and demolition (C&D) landfill. In addition to the MSW transfer and C&D landfill operations, the facility also conducts dead animal disposal, wood/brush burning, and is a collection and storage point for various recyclables, including used oil, paper/cardboard, metal scrap/white goods, used batteries, empty propane tanks, and electronic waste. All MSW is transferred to the Casper Regional Landfill (Casper, WY) for disposal, and the various recyclables (except used oil – which is used as on-site burner fuel) are picked up by approved third parties for subsequent off-site recycling.
