| Description of Services: | The facility accepts only ferrous scrap metal. They do not accept any fluids, hazardous materials, gases, cylinders (unless they meet certain criteria), or any other waste. Refrigerants must be reclaimed from appliances prior to acceptance. In 2010, approximately 20% of the scrap (light iron) was trans-shipped to various other scrap recyclers that have shredding capability. The Facility does not own a shredder to process light iron scrap. |
