| Description of Services: | The facility is a shipyard where repairs are made to tug boats, barges, and other vessels. The Gas Free Plant (GFP - subject of this review) supports the shipyard operations by cleaning barges and bilges of boats to ready them for “hot work”, i.e. removing any flammable or ignitable liquids and their vapors prior to welding repairs or other activities that would trigger combustion, thus the name “gas free”. |
