| Description of Services: | The facility currently operates two landfarms which treat hydrocarbon-contaminated waste from oilfield and non-oilfield sources. The landfarm treatment is mainly through volitization and photodegradation; waste is applied in thin lifts which are regularly tilled, and nutrients/hydration are not added. Also at the landfarm facility, Envirotech is permitted to operate a waste blending facility where native soil is used to solidify liquid/sludge waste, and/or is used to dilute waste containing high chloride levels. The facility is also permitted to perform gravity separation of oily water within open-topped tanks. |
