Description of Services:The facility processes mercury containing lamps. Lamps are crushed and separated into nonhazardous glass and aluminum (which are recycled), and phosphor powder (which is retorted off-site). The facility also accepts other universal waste products for brokerage to recyclers. The other universal waste products include batteries (all types), lighting ballasts (PCB and non-PCB), mercury containing devices, e-scrap (computers and components, faxes, telephones, televisions, etc.), and appliances (refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.).
