| Description of Services: | The facility disposes of produced water (salt water) from the exploration and production of oil and gas activities. The salt water is discharged into a wash-down pit, then conveyed through a separation baffle to allows solids to drop out and oil to float to the surface. Oil is skimmed off and transported off-site for recycling. Two surface impoundments receive the salt water from the wash-down pit to provide further separation for the salt water, which is then pumped into two aboveground storage tanks prior to disposal in the injection well. |
