| Description of Services: | The facility is a landfill that accepts municipal solid waste and industrial waste, including state-regulated Class 1 materials. The solidification operation consists of a new covered concrete pad area where waste is solidified in one of two metal roll-offs. Fly ash or another inert solidification agent is added to the nonhazardous waste and mixed using a clamshell. The mixture is allowed to set and is then landfilled. The facility also operates a 10-day hazardous waste transfer station. The transfer station consists of container storage areas. |
