| Description of Services: | The facility conducts land treatment of petroleum contaminated soils (PCS) meeting New Brunswick Environment and Local Government (MELG) criteria. Soils are typically gasoline- or fuel oil- contaminated with concentrations 100-5,000 ppm total petroleum hydrocarbons. Piles are aerated using heavy equipment (i.e., loader, excavator or trommel screener) and enriched with selected nutrients (i.e., nitrogen, potassium and phosphate), where necessary. |
