| Description of Services: | The facility is a landfill for municipal solid waste (MSW) and hazardous waste. Also biological liquid treatment center, soil biotreatment of petroleum contaminated soil (PCS), and landfill gas recovery. Landfill gas is sent to an energy recovery facility, and used to produce electricity. The site also includes a manual sorting facility for recyclables (cardboard, paper, glass, plastic, and aluminum), which is operated by sister company, Recycle America. Stabilization was closed in 2003, and solidification was closed in 2007. |
