Description of Services:	The facility is an electronic waste recycler, and as such, it does not handle hazardous wastes other than as a component of electronic wastes (i.e. computers, mobile phones & Li-ion batteries). E-wastes are classified as non-hazardous waste in Australia. All electronic scrap, e-waste, batteries, and other electronic equipment arrive in containerized loads via vans, and trailers - boxes, bags, plastic bins, and items shrink-wrapped on pallets, primarily in dedicated shipments. The site receives mainly lap tops, and desk top computers, printers, cell phones, CRTs, and lithium ion/nickel metal-hydride batteries for de-manufacturing, and component separation. Computers and printers are also received and are examined for functionality, refurbished, and returned to the customer, or re-sold. Some hard drive disks (HDD) may be wiped or cut (destroyed), depending on the customer’s preference.
