| Description of Services: | The facility is a non-hazardous waste landfill. The facility receives household waste, and industrial (plant) trash for sorting, and select hazardous special wastes (mainly petroleum contaminated soils and sludges, asbestos, and incinerator ash). Construction and demolition (C&D) waste, including gypsum board, and spent sand blast media are also accepted. Wastes are directly landfill disposed of onsite without treatment with the exception of the contaminated soils and sludges, which are treated with wood bark and sand, to reduce the total organic content (TOC) to below 20,000 ppm. |
