| Description of Services: | The facility has three primary major waste management capabilities - a materials recycling facility (MRF), which removes recyclables from non-hazardous commercial/industrial waste for recovery (to meet Landfill directive pre-treatment requirement), a nonhazardous waste landfill used primarily for disposal of non-hazardous commercial/industrial wastes, and a waste treatment center (WTC) used for the biological treatment of non-hazardous liquids. Oils may also be recovered and sent off-site for recycling using simple gravity separation techniques from non-hazardous liquids prior to on-site processing. The facility also periodically accepts certain hazardous or other wastes for storage/transfer, but this is infrequent. |
