| Description of Services: | The facility stabilizes and landfills solid hazardous wastes; treats and reuses or discharges leachate from its Class II landfill; recycles metals, plastic and paper (sorting operations are currently offsite and subcontracted); incinerates plastic and paper wastes, using the heat to generate steam for an onsite fodder drying operation; landfills municipal wastes; converts Class II landfill gas to energy; and sorts and shreds non-dangerous wastes for use as fuel in offsite cement plants. |
