Description of Services:CCS Lindbergh is an oilfield waste processing and disposal facility with cavern disposal capabilities (including both oilfield and non-oil field solids and liquids) and injection well capabilities (fluids appropriate for Class 1B disposal). The facility uses cavern disposal to dispose of solids, and Class 1B injection wells to dispose of liquids. There are currently four caverns which are being used for solids disposal, and two Class 1B injection wells.

The facility is approved to accept both oilfield and non-oilfield fluids appropriate for Class 1B underground injection. The facility is also approved to accept wastes for cavern disposal, including: Oilfield wastes (catalyst, contaminated debris and soil, crude oil and emulsions, drilling sump materials, frac sand, produced sand, various sludges, wash fluids, and well work over fluids) and Non-oilfield wastes (including certain Alberta generated hazardous recyclables, non-hazardous recyclables, and imported (out of province) hazardous and non-hazardous recyclables. These non-oilfield wastes include refinery waste, car/truck wash sump material, contaminated soil, precipitated gypsum, etc. and oilfield wastes imported from Saskatchewan.
